Season Changes Suck

This seasonal change has hit me like a ton of bricks. One day it just turns into fall and I feel like I have no energy, and just been feeling depressed lately. I've been on a month now so far with the vitamin D pills, and still feel drained of energy. I am now taking Vitamin D pills everyday now with a fewer dosage from the 50,000 units, twice a week, I'm now taking 5,000 units every day.

Hopefully we will get a few more awesome weather days in before fall officially hits, and hopefully I will be up with those days are. As far as that deposit goal, I know it's not going to be possible now, but hopefully I can fulfill my other deposit bonus on Pokerstars. I have a week or so left to try and get as much of the bonus I can on Full Tilt as I can, but trying to get everything situated in my life first.

Poker
As far as the poker has been going, I found out that the micro limits is just not working for my grind and I have moved up in limits from .5/.10c to .10/.25c or 25NL and have finally got out of the horrible bad luck bad beat session I've been having as well. I actually am back to even on my bankroll now and see that the players the 25NL limits play a lil worse than the micro limits actually, it's kinda crazy. People are willing to go all in preflop with mediocre hands like AQ offsuit and mid pocket pairs, so I have found me a new home!

Gaming
I actually had a little time to get some gaming in and got to play Halo Reach on campaign with my brother and 2 other friends to get full 4 player co-op and it was fun, but it was just another game to me. Nothing really standed out to make it exciting or anything it just felt like I was going through the motions. I haven't had time to play the multiplayer yet though and I know that's what halo is all about so, until then I really can't say shit about it. I'm really looking forward to Dead Rising 2 though, and need to hurry up and preorder it! I'll be playing that with my brother since it's co-op as well. I really enjoy playing co-op games with my brother because I don't get much "Bro" time in with him these days.

Blog updates and gadgets
I've always wanted my own camcorder and I just bought a HD camcorder. It's a portable one that is really easy shoot and upload, so I think I will be converting my blog over to a "vlog" pretty soon so you won't have to read lots of articles anymore, it will be glorious video in 1080p! Nah, I don't think I will be recording 1080p although I can, but low quality is good enough for me for now. So look forward to my next update being a video blog update post!

Distracting Distractions!

I first off want to say congrats to my friend Sasha for having a adorable baby girl! Here's a picture of both of them angles, and Sasha actually smiling! I never seen her smile only once but I had to do very bad things and sell half my soul.

This post is a little old, I made a draft and wanted to add some things before I posted it, but now a week has gone by, but oh well here it is. I just got done with playing a Uno Co-op match with a friend Drew of mine from the 4BG community. It was our first session playing it against people. We do it via www.gamebattles.com so there's a little more competition and bragging rights, because people set up games there and go against people and sometimes win prizes and cash and what not. We did pretty good for our first team session, and one match was so good that the other team thought we were cheating we owned them so hard!

I'm going out of my mind lately with all the distractions that have been going on.   I haven't even had any time for actual poker lately as my bonus goal sinks farther and farther out of reality.   This is my first goal I've tried and I'm failing miserably at it. I think what I should have done was to get all my poker stuff prepared before depositing my bankrolls on the sites.   You live and learn from your mistakes is the best way to learn I guess, but some mistakes cost you a lot more than others.

   Lately I've been preparing all my poker tools I use before playing, like my HUD's ( head up displays), notes, keeping in contact with people, and building a reputation slowly so I can build up my staking trust as well.   Other than poker, little things like chatrooms, social sites, are really distracting me and pissing me off that I'm wasting my time doing that and not getting to poker!    So now I've put my foot down and strictly going to stick to twitter and my blog and check out facebook once in awhile, and hopefully stop enough distractions to get my shit in order and more focused.    It looks like I need more than one goal to finish others, almost like a circle of life.

   I got a good friend of mine that's helping me upgrade my computer in the next week.   I wanted to upgrade my system to RAID and get a upgrade on my video card, since I need a upgrade on this PC I built from 06. This will make my system run super smooth and less strain on my processor, and will be my last upgrade for this pc, before I get a new pc one day in a far future. My friend Steve that is helping me, is a super skilled person when it comes to computers, so skilled that he's opening up his own business that does everything geek squad, but doesn't rape you with crazy insane prices.    So if your looking for someone to help you with your pc hit him up!   You don't have to be local for him to help fix your computer either by the way he can fix most of the problems from his house!

Hopefully my new blog post will be filled with a good poker session!

Paying it Forward

If you haven't seen the movie pay it forward, it was a decent movie, but what I took from the movie was it had a pretty interesting concept. basically this d00d conjures the notion of paying a favor not back, but forward--repaying good deeds not with payback, but with new good deeds done to three new people. Since a really good friend helped me out with my poker and staked me a bankroll to get started, I wanted to pay it forward.

One of my friends is stuck in the same situation as me, no bankroll to get anything going. His play is good enough to be a winning player at the moment and is always improving, so I wanted to help spyder along the way and show him the mistakes I made the first time, so he don't have to do the same thing and lose his bankroll. I've made 5k from a 50$ deposit in 2005, so with determination and grinding it out it is definitely possible by sticking with the bankroll management rule only spend 5% of your bankroll on any buy-in. I found out helping and teaching other people how to play poker helps your own game in many ways as well, so we both get something out of it.

I just got done helping my friend spyd3r try to get a bankroll on a few sites so hopefully all of them will go through. I've spend the past few days setting up all my stuff onto my pc instead of playing on my laptop, so I have a bigger screen and more powerful and can do so much more with dual screens.   before I was starting to multitable with the tile tabling the poker tables, but that was just to much mouse movement and decided to stack my tables instead.

The thing is, I already setup all my huds for the smaller table sizes so i had to set them all up again for full screen tables.   I can fit way more stats on there now though, so I'm much more happy now, so I can learn all the stats now and get better at using them when needed when i multitable. The HUDs don't help you play poker, they are more or less little notes to help you out, especially when you are playing more then one table and have to move very quickly from one table to another.

I have 30 more days to get his bonus and time is getting shorter and shorter, I really want to finish this goal because I don't like to fail. I'm going to spend one more day configuring table ninja which is this program that helps me multi-table much more easier ( it's pretty much a AHK script program) and then I'm going to be super busy playing nothing but poker all day long. Tomorrow I'm also going to figure out how many bonus points I need to acquire each day in order to get this bonus as well. I'm way to tired to do it now, plus my schedule is all fugged up.

I know I'm not even close to being pro yet, but I do have a lot of knowledge to share with anyone willing to listen, and I also get trained myself from pros, articles, poker schools, forums and more it's all out there for you to soak your brain up on. The only thing that I am missing and want right now is a poker buddy that I can talk to and relate too. I haven't found a friend in real life or even online that I can talk to on a regular basis about poker yet, and I've been looking for a few months now. Sure, I talk to people about poker in chat rooms here and there, but no poker buddy yet.   When I do found someone that is as passionate about it as I am, it will improve my game even more, and I can't wait until that day comes.   I just hope it comes soon!

34 more days left for my Deposit Goal!

I'm trying to achieve a first deposit bonus goal, and was trying to get the most out of it so I did the max deposit, which was 600$ match on your deposit bonus. I have until Oct 3rd, to get this bonus so I have
34 days left to get the full bonus and it takes 185 points to release $11.50 cash into your account. The thing is i'm pretty much am a tournament player, that's where my game is best. I also found out you don't get that many points for playing tournaments compared to how many you get playing cash games.

I figured this is the best time for me to improve on my cash game, but I don't want to loose my whole bankroll trying to get this bonus. Right now I'm runnin bad, down about -$120, and have $34.85 so far from the bonus being released. ( it's released in $11.50 incriments ) I've been trying to take advantage of the bonus hours there are 3 times a day, since you get double in points. I think playing those x2 Bonus Hours are very important if I want to get this full bonus.

Tired and wasted day

well today I finally got this old blog setup again so it's all new and shiny with a bunch of new features that makes this blogger site much better to use now for blogs, and really dig it now. Took me a few hours to get everything setup, but I'm happy with it for now and will improve it more when I get content I want to put up. Now I have added a twitter widget, a follow button for google people, and also a subscribe RSS button, and added my JTV channels Fourbeatgamers and my other channel where I stream poker shows. I didn't even get any poker in today, mostly just watched Scott Matasow play ( mike "the mouth" matasow's brother) online and let a bunch of people know about his site that also has a poker room that already gave away a million in prizes, and it's a no deposit site.

I didn't even get any studying and going over my hands either today, so it really felt like another wasted day. I'm not even sleeping that much, and the days go by so fast, I can't believe it's already friday. I'm going to crash out for tonight. When light emits from the windows I must get into my coffin!

Summary of the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act

Medical marijuana is currently legal in thirteen states. Named after
Jacki Rickert, a medical marijuana advocate who 12 years ago led a
210-mile trek of wheelchair-bound patients from Mondovi to Madison in
order to seek legal access to the medicine they said made their lives
bearable, this comprehensive legislation would allow patients with
debilitating medical conditions access to marijuana if authorized by
their doctor or if they have a valid registry card from DHFS.

Similar to 2007 AB 550, this legislation is based on Michigan law that
passed last November on a state-wide ballot of 63% to 35%.

This is an issue where the public has been ahead of the policy makers.
Polling over the past few years has shown consistent support for
medical marijuana, most recently escalating to over 75% in Wisconsin.
In the seven states where medical marijuana was added as a ballot
initiative, it passed in each state by a wide margin.

It is time that we address medical marijuana as an issue of providing
comprehensive health care to all people. The patient and their doctor
should have as many options as possible available when treating a
patient’s medical condition.

Key Provisions of the bill include:

· Provides a medical necessity defense to marijuana-related
prosecutions and property seizure actions. A person may evoke this
defense if they are undergoing a debilitating medical condition or
treatment and have written consent from their physician or obtained a
valid registry ID card from DHFS. Conditions include cancer, glaucoma,
AIDS or HIV, diseases that cause wasting away, severe pain or nausea,
seizures or severe and persistent muscle spasms, and any other medical
condition or treatment in rules promulgated by DHFS.

· Creates a maximum authorized amount of marijuana a patient may have,
thus establishing clear limits for both patients and law enforcement
officials.

· Prohibits the arrest of a physician who provides a written
certification in good faith. Also, the primary caregiver is protected
from the same exceptions under the law.

· The defense may not be applicable if the patient performs an illegal
act while using marijuana. This includes driving or operating a motor
vehicle, operating heavy machinery, smoking near a school, park or
youth center, at a person’s employment, etc.

· Requires DHFS to establish a registry for medical users of marijuana
and an ID card to a qualifying patient.

· Requires DHFS to license and regulate nonprofit corporations that
distribute marijuana.

· This bill only changes state law regarding marijuana. Federal law on
marijuana does not change. However, 99% of marijuana arrests are made
by state and local officials, not federal officials.

no prior drug convictions is guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined
not more than $1,000, sentenced to the county jail for up to six
months, or both. For a second or subsequent offense, a person is guilty
of a Class I felony.

Current law also contains certain prohibitions regarding drug
paraphernalia, which includes equipment, products, and materials used
to produce, distribute, and use controlled substances, including
marijuana. Under current law, a person who uses drug paraphernalia or
who possesses it with the primary intent to produce, distribute, or use
a controlled substance, other than methamphetamine, unlawfully is
guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined not more than $500, imprisoned
for not more than 30 days, or both. A person who delivers drug
paraphernalia, possesses it with intent to deliver it, or manufactures
it with intent to deliver it, knowing that it will be primarily used to
produce, distribute, or use a controlled substance, other than
methamphetamine, unlawfully may be fined not more than $1,000,
imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both.

Medical necessity defense and immunity from arrest and prosecution
This bill establishes a medical necessity defense to
marijuana>−>related prosecutions and forfeiture actions. A person
having or undergoing a debilitating medical condition or treatment
(qualifying patient) may invoke this defense. A debilitating medical
condition or treatment means any of the following: 1) cancer, glaucoma,
AIDS, a positive HIV test, Crohn’s disease, a Hepatitis C virus
infection, Alzheimer’s disease, Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis, nail
patella syndrome, Ehlers>−>Danlos Syndrome, post>−>traumatic stress
disorder, or the treatment of these conditions; 2) a chronic or
debilitating disease or medical condition, or the treatment of such a
disease or condition, that causes wasting away, severe pain, severe
nausea, seizures, or severe and persistent muscle spasms; or 3) any
other medical condition or treatment for a medical condition designated
as a debilitating medical condition or treatment in rules promulgated
by the Department of Health Services (DHS).

A qualifying patient may invoke this defense if he or she acquires,
possesses, cultivates, transports, or uses marijuana to alleviate the
symptoms or effects of his or her debilitating medical condition or
treatment, but only if no more than the maximum author>ized amount of
marijuana (that is, 12 marijuana plants and three ounces —
approximately 85 grams — of marijuana leaves or flowers) is involved.
If a person has obtained a valid registry identification card from DHS
or a valid out>−>of>−>state registry identification card (see Registry
and distribution centers for medical users of marijuana below) or has a
written certification from his or her physician documenting that the
person has or is undergoing a debilitating medical condition or
treatment and that the potential benefits to the person of using
marijuana outweigh the health risks involved, the person is presumed to
have this defense if no more than the maximum authorized amount of
marijuana is involved.
The bill also prohibits the arrest or prosecution of a qualifying
patient who acquires, possesses, cultivates, transports, or uses
marijuana to alleviate the symptoms or effects of his or her
debilitating medical condition or treatment if the person possesses a
valid registry identification card, a valid out>−>of>−>state registry
identification card, or a written certification. This prohibition,
however, applies only if no more than the maximum authorized amount of
marijuana is involved. In addition, the bill prohibits the arrest or
prosecution of or the imposition of any penalty on a physician who
provides a written certification to a person in good faith.
The defense provided under the bill and the prohibition on arrest and
prosecution contained in the bill do not apply if the person possesses
or attempts to possess marijuana and if: 1) while under the influence
of marijuana, the person drives or operates a motor vehicle; 2) while
under the influence of marijuana, the person operates heavy machinery
or engages in any other conduct that endangers the health or
well>−>being of another person; or 3) the person smokes marijuana on a
bus, at his or her workplace, on school premises, in an adult or
juvenile correctional facility or jail, at a public park, beach, or
recreation center, or at a youth center. In addition, if the putative
qualifying patient is under 18 years of age, the defense provided under
the bill and the prohibition on arrest and prosecution contained in the
bill apply only if the person’s parent, guardian, or legal custodian
agrees to serve as a primary caregiver for the person. The bill defines
a primary caregiver as a person who is at least 18 years old and who
has agreed to be responsible for managing a qualifying patient’s
medical use of marijuana.
The defense provided under the bill and the prohibition on arrest and
prosecution contained in the bill apply also to a primary caregiver for
any qualifying patient, if the primary caregiver acquires, possesses,
cultivates, transfers, or transports marijuana to facilitate the
qualifying patient’s medical use of it. The defense and the prohibition
apply to the primary caregiver only if it is not practicable for the
qualifying patient to acquire, possess, cultivate, or transport
marijuana independently or if the qualifying patient is under 18. The
defense and the prohibition apply also to offenses involving drug
paraphernalia if the qualifying patient uses the drug paraphernalia for
the medical use of marijuana.

Registry and distribution centers for medical users of marijuana
The bill requires DHS to establish a registry for medical users of
marijuana. Under the bill, a person claiming to be a qualifying patient
may apply for a registry identification card by submitting to DHS a
signed application, accompanied by a written certification and a
registration fee of not more than $150. DHS must verify the information
and issue the person a registry identification card.

A qualifying patient and one of his or her primary caregivers may also jointly apply
for a registry identification card for the primary caregiver. DHS may
not disclose that it has issued to a person a registry identification
card, or information from an application for one, except to a law
enforcement agency for the purpose of verifying that a person possesses
a >valid registry identification card. A registry identification card
is valid for one year, unless revoked sooner by DHS based on a change
of circumstances, and may be renewed. This bill also requires DHS to
promulgate a rule listing any state, district, commonwealth, territory,
or insular possession thereof that allows the medical use of marijuana
by a visiting qualifying patient or allows a person to assist with a
visiting qualifying patient’s medical use of marijuana. Under this
bill, documents issued by these entities identifying a person as a
qualifying patient, primary caregiver, or equivalent are treated the
same as registry identification cards issued by DHS.

The bill requires DHS to license and regulate nonprofit corporations,
known as compassion centers, that distribute or deliver marijuana or
drug paraphernalia or possess or manufacture marijuana or drug
paraphernalia with the intent to deliver or distribute to facilitate
the medical use of marijuana.

This bill prohibits compassion centers
from being located less than 500 feet from a school, prohibits a
compassion center from distributing to a qualifying patient more than a
maximum amount of marijuana, and prohibits an organization from
possessing a quantity that exceeds, by an amount determined by DHS, the
total maximum amount of marijuana of all of the qualifying patients it
serves. An applicant for a license must pay an initial application fee
of $250, and a compassion center must pay an annual fee of $5,000.

Effect on federal law
This bill changes state law regarding marijuana. It does not affect
federal law, which generally prohibits persons from manufacturing,
delivering, or possessing marijuana and applies to both intrastate and
interstate violations.

Because this bill creates a new crime or revises a penalty for an
existing crime, the Joint Review Committee on Criminal Penalties may be
requested to prepare a report concerning the proposed penalty and the
costs or savings that are likely to result if the bill is enacted.

Current prohibitions and penalties
Current law prohibits the manufacture, distribution, and delivery of
marijuana (also known as tetrahydrocannabinols) and the possession of
marijuana with intent to manufacture, distribute, or deliver it.
Penalties for violating these prohibitions depend on the amount of
marijuana involved. If the crime involves 200 grams or less or four or
fewer marijuana plants, the person is guilty of a felony and may be
fined up to $10,000, sentenced to a term of imprisonment of up to three
years and six months, or both. If the crime involves more than 200
grams but not more than 1,000 grams, or more than four plants but not
more than 20 plants, the person is guilty of a felony and may be fined
up to $10,000, sentenced to a term of imprisonment of up to six years,
or both. If the crime involves more than 1,000 grams but not more than
2,500 grams, or more than 20 plants but not more than 50 plants, the
person is guilty of a felony and may be fined up to $25,000, sentenced
to a term of imprisonment of up to ten years, or both. If the crime
involves more than 2,500 grams but not more than 10,000 grams, or more
than 50 plants but not more than 200 plants, the person is guilty of a
felony and may be fined up to $25,000, sentenced to a term of
imprisonment of up to 12 years and 6 months, or both. If the crime
involves more than 10,000 grams or more than 200 plants, the person is
guilty of a felony and may be fined up to $50,000, sentenced to a term
of imprisonment of up to 15 years, or both.
Current law also prohibits a person from possessing or attempting to
possess marijuana. A person who violates this prohibition and who has
no prior drug convictions is guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined
not more than $1,000, sentenced to the county jail for up to six
months, or both. For a second or subsequent offense, a person is guilty
of a Class I felony.
Current law also contains certain prohibitions regarding drug
paraphernalia, which includes equipment, products, and materials used
to produce, distribute, and use controlled substances, including
marijuana. Under current law, a person who uses drug paraphernalia or
who possesses it with the primary intent to produce, distribute, or use
a controlled substance, other than methamphetamine, unlawfully is
guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined not more than $500, imprisoned
for not more than 30 days, or both. A person who delivers drug
paraphernalia, possesses it with intent to deliver it, or manufactures
it with intent to deliver it, knowing that it will be primarily used to
produce, distribute, or use a controlled substance, other than
methamphetamine, unlawfully may be fined not more than $1,000,
imprisoned for not more than 90 days, or both.

Medical necessity defense and immunity from arrest and prosecution
This bill establishes a medical necessity defense to
marijuana>−>related prosecutions and forfeiture actions. A person
having or undergoing a debilitating medical condition or treatment
(qualifying patient) may invoke this defense. A debilitating medical
condition or treatment means any of the following: 1) cancer, glaucoma,
AIDS, a positive HIV test, Crohn’s disease, a Hepatitis C virus
infection, Alzheimer’s disease, Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis, nail
patella syndrome, Ehlers>−>Danlos Syndrome, post>−>traumatic stress
disorder, or the treatment of these conditions; 2) a chronic or
debilitating disease or medical condition, or the treatment of such a
disease or condition, that causes wasting away, severe pain, severe
nausea, seizures, or severe and persistent muscle spasms; or 3) any
other medical condition or treatment for a medical condition designated
as a debilitating medical condition or treatment in rules promulgated
by the Department of Health Services (DHS).
A qualifying patient may invoke this defense if he or she acquires,
possesses, cultivates, transports, or uses marijuana to alleviate the
symptoms or effects of his or her debilitating medical condition or
treatment, but only if no more than the maximum author>ized amount of
marijuana (that is, 12 marijuana plants and three ounces —
approximately 85 grams — of marijuana leaves or flowers) is involved.
If a person has obtained a valid registry identification card from DHS
or a valid out>−>of>−>state registry identification card (see Registry
and distribution centers for medical users of marijuana below) or has a
written certification from his or her physician documenting that the
person has or is undergoing a debilitating medical condition or
treatment and that the potential benefits to the person of using
marijuana outweigh the health risks involved, the person is presumed to
have this defense if no more than the maximum authorized amount of
marijuana is involved.
The bill also prohibits the arrest or prosecution of a qualifying
patient who acquires, possesses, cultivates, transports, or uses
marijuana to alleviate the symptoms or effects of his or her
debilitating medical condition or treatment if the person possesses a
valid registry identification card, a valid out>−>of>−>state registry
identification card, or a written certification. This prohibition,
however, applies only if no more than the maximum authorized amount of
marijuana is involved. In addition, the bill prohibits the arrest or
prosecution of or the imposition of any penalty on a physician who
provides a written certification to a person in good faith.
The defense provided under the bill and the prohibition on arrest and
prosecution contained in the bill do not apply if the person possesses
or attempts to possess marijuana and if: 1) while under the influence
of marijuana, the person drives or operates a motor vehicle; 2) while
under the influence of marijuana, the person operates heavy machinery
or engages in any other conduct that endangers the health or
well>−>being of another person; or 3) the person smokes marijuana on a
bus, at his or her workplace, on school premises, in an adult or
juvenile correctional facility or jail, at a public park, beach, or
recreation center, or at a youth center. In addition, if the putative
qualifying patient is under 18 years of age, the defense provided under
the bill and the prohibition on arrest and prosecution contained in the
bill apply only if the person’s parent, guardian, or legal custodian
agrees to serve as a primary caregiver for the person. The bill defines
a primary caregiver as a person who is at least 18 years old and who
has agreed to be responsible for managing a qualifying patient’s
medical use of marijuana.
The defense provided under the bill and the prohibition on arrest and
prosecution contained in the bill apply also to a primary caregiver for
any qualifying patient, if the primary caregiver acquires, possesses,
cultivates, transfers, or transports marijuana to facilitate the
qualifying patient’s medical use of it. The defense and the prohibition
apply to the primary caregiver only if it is not practicable for the
qualifying patient to acquire, possess, cultivate, or transport
marijuana independently or if the qualifying patient is under 18. The
defense and the prohibition apply also to offenses involving drug
paraphernalia if the qualifying patient uses the drug paraphernalia for
the medical use of marijuana.

Registry and distribution centers for medical users of marijuana
The bill requires DHS to establish a registry for medical users of
marijuana. Under the bill, a person claiming to be a qualifying patient
may apply for a registry identification card by submitting to DHS a
signed application, accompanied by a written certification and a
registration fee of not more than $150. DHS must verify the information
and issue the person a registry identification card. A qualifying
patient and one of his or her primary caregivers may also jointly apply
for a registry identification card for the primary caregiver. DHS may
not disclose that it has issued to a person a registry identification
card, or information from an application for one, except to a law
enforcement agency for the purpose of verifying that a person possesses
a >valid registry identification card. A registry identification card
is valid for one year, unless revoked sooner by DHS based on a change
of circumstances, and may be renewed. This bill also requires DHS to
promulgate a rule listing any state, district, commonwealth, territory,
or insular possession thereof that allows the medical use of marijuana
by a visiting qualifying patient or allows a person to assist with a
visiting qualifying patient’s medical use of marijuana. Under this
bill, documents issued by these entities identifying a person as a
qualifying patient, primary caregiver, or equivalent are treated the
same as registry identification cards issued by DHS.
The bill requires DHS to license and regulate nonprofit corporations,
known as compassion centers, that distribute or deliver marijuana or

drug paraphernalia or possess or manufacture marijuana or drug
paraphernalia with the intent to deliver or distribute to facilitate
the medical use of marijuana. This bill prohibits compassion centers
from being located less than 500 feet from a school, prohibits a
compassion center from distributing to a qualifying patient more than a
maximum amount of marijuana, and prohibits an organization from
possessing a quantity that exceeds, by an amount determined by DHS, the
total maximum amount of marijuana of all of the qualifying patients it
serves. An applicant for a license must pay an initial application fee
of $250, and a compassion center must pay an annual fee of $5,000.

Effect on federal law
This bill changes state law regarding marijuana. It does not affect
federal law, which generally prohibits persons from manufacturing,
delivering, or possessing marijuana and applies to both intrastate and
interstate violations.
Because this bill creates a new crime or revises a penalty for an
existing crime, the Joint Review Committee on Criminal Penalties may be
requested to prepare a report concerning the proposed penalty and the
costs or savings that are likely to result if the bill is enacted.
For further information see the state and local fiscal estimate, which
will be printed as an appendix to this bill.

That didn't really last that long.. me quitting and all. I had been getting a lot of stuff done and it kinda found me not the other way, so I'll put that story on hold for now. I didn't do much today but some more house work and hanging with my brother for a few. He finally brought back my Ninja Gaiden 2 game back, and I haven't even played it yet, and bought it when it came out. I've been so busy that I let him get first crack at it. Sad thing is he played it on the easier difficulty. I think I might have to out due him since I'm his older bro and all. 16 more days until the 4BeatGamer Chilling/Camp Week, and reality is starting to hit in on all the people that said they were going. Reality as in they are NOT going and staying home. Either something came up or they are broke now, the dominos are falling one by one. There are 9 total people going to the MI trip and7 going to the camping trip, so whatever happens I plan on having a good time.

I woke up today, but it was so cold that I think I just stayed in the covers and feel back asleep, cuz my friend Paul called me at around 3pm I think, and I told him I would pop on stickam. Well, that was 12 hours ago and I'm finally up at 3am......yay!

So I actually stopped puffing erb. Whoa! I've been puffing up everyday, 5 times a day for a long long long time. If I could get all my money back from al the erb I puffed, I could retire a rich rich man and leave off of it for the rest of my life. That's why I wanted to either, stop puffing for a while to get my tolerance down, and then start puffing on the weekends or special occasions; or just stop puffing all together. I'm kinda going for the 1st idear, so I'm trying to get to that point right now. There's no physical addiction to the erb at all, it's all psychological so I've being a little anti-social just at the moment so it's outta site outta mind. As I'm writing this, I find it ironic that I just wrote that, because while I'm writing this I'm also watching an episode of Weeds.

It's almost 5 and the birds are chirping...ugh. I'm not a morning person at all, but when I wake up before 5am, I seem to don't mind it. We'll see how this day will end. I plan on making some special butter this weekend for my rewards of not puffing. Cheer me on!

What the hell has happened in a year?

Wow it's been almost a year since I wrote anything via blog! I totally know why I haven't been doing any updates on my blog though; I seen my last post was around september of 2007. That's when I created the Gamers and Electronic beats chatroom on Stickam. I can see how much time it takes to run and maintain a Chatroom, Forum, and a Website in full view now. That really doesn't even scratch the surface on the little things that fall underneath that like, replying to emails, forums, questions about the chatroom, when are we getting this and that?

Even my video game time has been nonexistent at the moment because, I've been busy with other things in my life that need to get done, and also the 4BG meet-up is happening in less than 3 weeks. It all started at some people were hangin out and they were going to party in Michigan with Ian (toymakr), but then it turned into a weekfull event with the Mi trip and then goin camping after the Michigan. What sucks is I feeling like I'm the one planning and taking care of everything, like the reserving the hotel, figuring out who is STILL all going, people of coarse are all dropping out of the meet-up with excuses, so it's about 10 of us now for the Michigan trip and then less for the camping trip. But I'm going to make the best of it, and plan to have a good time. I wish all of you could go, but I would just wait for the year reunion. I will be taking care of all the plans and everything, so it's not so confusing like this little meet-up were doing in July.

Music! Omg the Music! My plate is so full yet I feel an emptyness inside me from a couple of things and music is definitely one of them. If you don't know already, I'm a music producer and Dj. Music is a huge part of my life, and before, that's what all I would do 24/7; anything that pertains to music. I Stopped making music for year, and it was because I burnt myself out. I kinda overdid it by collecting samples.

Anykind of sample there was I wanted to have it! From sampling drumsets, movies, guitars, pianos, and sound effects, you name it. But that's not how I got burnt out. The whole reason why I got burnt out is the whole organization process. putting all the samples under the right category folders, and then there are also sub folders of folders, so later on your have this huge ass family tree of samples that need organizing. By the end of it, I was doing more organzing of folders than making music! So that's how I got all burnt out.

During that whole year was prolly the strangest year of my life. Pretty much a whole year without listening to music. Of coarse I heard music hear and there that someone was playing in a car or elevator, but I myself didn't press the play button for a year. Music is just like a bookmark of memories if you really embrace the moment. There has been so many times where I heard A song and it brings back so much; the memories, the year, the smell, etc. Music is a powerfull thing, and I'm back to stay forever.

Feels good to get my blog back up and running again. But when I have more time for certain things, I always lose time on others. Just have to divide all my time out equally.... but that shit will never happen. Just wanted to say thanks to Christine for triggering my motivation to get my blog back up and running, and also for FINALLY logging into my Myspace site.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead - Watch this! Great drama, and phillip seymour hoffman, what more could you ask for! This is a pulp fiction kinda movie where you see different points of view from each character. *Drum really recommends to all!

Empire Records - A good classic romantic comedy that takes place in a record store. I'm a real sucker for movies with a record/music store theme to it, as much as I love zombie films! I think cuz I always wanted to own my own music store/venue/bar.

100 Girls - I've been a member of Netflix for 6 years now and now they offer instant viewing movies while youB wait for your dvd's to come in the mail. they have a good 4,000 plus movies to pick from as well, and this was one of them. This is a B-movie, but it was actually pretty good and could actually beat some of the crappy funded movies I've seen these days. "meet the spartans?" ewww. This movie also has a good cast of familar actors in it as well. * Drum B-movie recommended

Groundhog day - I don't really have to explain anything here, we all and know groundhog day is a great movie. Nuff said. I deceided to switch it up and not watch 5 romantic comedies in a row.

Booty Call - This old ass ghetto comedy about 2 friends trying to hook up is pretty bad. Jamie Foxx has come a long way! From being a d00d named, "Bunz" in this movie. To all the way to playing Ray. You came a long way! * I wouldn't watch this one, even if you were high,drunk, or both!

I haven't been online lately and it sucks because I'm on mostly all the time. From being on Xbox, on the pc, or just being live on stickam I'm on the internet a lot! I recently got my modem replaced but the new one blows. It works for hours and then just goes off of connection. Today it's been out all day so I did the fun task of calling Tech Support on the phone. 3 hours and 2 transfers later, and I finally got me an appointment with my cable tomorrow. So until then I can't finish the battle with my friends online and I can't do all the fun stuff and chores I need to do online.

I figured I'd write this while I do have the internet. ( it's just popped online again for the first time today) I'm actually watching Wild Hogs, and can't figure out why the hell I rented it. When I opened up my movie envelope I saw and advertisement for Showtime for some show called Dexter. (never heard of it) I also saw on the bottom that Showtime is having a free preview from Sept. 28 to Oct 1st. So pop on the couch and get all of the Showtime goodness you can crave! The one show I've been renting from Netflix that's actually on Showtime is a show called Weeds. So far I like it and but I've only watched the first 6 episodes, so things can change.
Another good show is Master of Horror, so I'm hoping they show some episodes of that during the free preview.

Halo 3 Countdown to the end.

I've been watching this countdown on G4 tv for the Halo 3, and right now it's T-minus 15 minutes and G4 don't know what the fuck is going on. Right now Master Chief is being escorted in with the first copy of Halo 3 on release date. G4 really needs to get their shit together when it comes to live broadcasting. I love the station with all my heart, but for an example the biggest part of E3 this year was the Halo 3 trailer, and when it played there was video difficulty and before that some d00d was talking about the trailer ( off air talk it seemed). That host Kevin saves that show, if they didn't have him G4 wouldn't be what it is. Anyhoo... are you waiting in line right now are can you hold out until tomorrow? OR? Can you hold out for awhile? Honestly I'm getting the game tomorrow, but I'm not as hyped about it as I was with some other games. Nonetheless I think I'm going to change my mind when I get all into it again like back in the day, and especially the 4 player C0-op single player mode is going to rock! I have my other 3 teammates ready for the adventure and it all goes down at 7pm on tuesday!

Poker more exciting that punches to the face

The past week, it's been UFC crazy with free fights on cable, new season of The Ultimate Fighter and this past UFC 76. I'm not goin to spoil it for anybody who hasn't seen it, but if I do try and post a Spoiler... there will be an alert. I know how it is to be spoiled before.... and it sucks. Speaking of sucking... I didn't really care for this UFC at all. There was one fight that I liked a lot but the whole fight card was pretty much MEH. This picture pretty much explains the UFC event.

I had a hell of a better time playin poker with my friend and actually hanging out, than the actual fight, but the company with some friends I haven't seen was pretty awesome. I spent the better half of 4 hours learning this new program for editing pictures and whatnot, but it was well worth it. the HTML on this blogger site is what cause me to learn this new program. HTML sucks on blogger.com and I would not recommend it really unless no other choice.

I finally got my new camera but, I haven't really taking any pictures, besides test ones. I'm still learning how to use the damn thing.. it came with 3 books. A quick start guide, advanced guide, and the guide for the software program to edit pictures. It's a pretty bad ass camera though; I was goin to take a picture, but I got a lil lazy. Oh no... I just typed the word lazy and now I'm yawning and about to past about. Until the next flipside with 50% more pictures!

Brutally fun and new media player and webcam!

Microsoft had a teaser trailer countdown and on the page it said Brutally Fun. The countdown was opened at 1am central time and I have the goods. I picture is worth a thousand words, so let me just post it.
One reason I was thinking about getting a PS3 was for the re-done Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but I don't need it any more! Everyone, I bring you... Ninja Gaiden II!! This game is coming out in 2008, but Ninja Gaiden is one of my favorite games from the classic nintendo version to the xbox version. ( they did a great job and didn't let me down, and it was hard as hell like it has to be in order to be called a Ninja Gaiden game) This game looks way more violent as well with screenshots of heads and limbs flying, this ninja game will be sure to please all the ninjas inside of us. Since Sunday is a lazy day for most people, (including me) and very boring to say the least. So I decided to start a Top 5 Gamertags points of the week. The word hate is such a strong word, but I'm going to use it. I HATE mosquitoes! Some people just look more flavorful than others and I am one of them. Whenever I get bit it swells up like an orange and that's without me itching it. My weakness is itching and stairs so the itching doesn't help either. That tennis racket thing you see is actually a electronic mosquito bat I picked up when I was in Vietnam. All the hotel employees had these in their hands whenever I was in a hotel, swinging in the air hoping to zap a mosquito to it's death. I know why it just says mosquito bat, rather than bug bat. I locked a fly in the bathroom with me so I could try and test it out on flies. It pretty much would just paralyze him for 20 seconds ( he was buzzing all over but couldn't fly) and then he was fine after that. I had to pretty much zap the fly for 3 minutes before he died, so for flies this is useless but who give a hoot about a fly.... those damn mosquitoes!

I just took a 5 minute brake, to kill 2 more in my room while I was writing this shit. I recently put a air conditioner in my room ( about friggin time!) and there is a hole somewhere letting the mosquitoes in. It's seems only mosquitoes come in too which suxs, because my room is closed and I'm getting bit in the dark, swinging this bat around hoping to kill them doing so. I pretty much taped the outer part of the air conditioner because I thought it was coming from the air vents but that's not the case because I tapped up ever vent and taped a screen over the vent and still they keep coming in.

One more day of this and hopefully this hole will be shut! I woke up today with a huge bite on my temple, my neck, the knuckle of my thumb, even on my damn Adams apple! WTF?

update - 9/5/07 4:39am: Just hunted down another bastard mosquito with a little patience and a golden retriever arm grabber thing. so that's a total of 13 mosquito's I've counted and killed so far in my room thus far in 10 hours+. I also got bit on the forehead while chatting a lil via messenger. They are so sneaky I couldn't see her come in for the landing on my forehead/eyebrow. I can't believe I'm talking about mosquitoes on the Internet but damn, this sux! I hate female mosquitoes , they are the ones that suck the blood for the eggs. I've been doing crazy research on the little flying demons from hell, and it's been getting pretty interesting. I can't remember if I wrote this or not but I ordered some mosquito products that are spose to confuse the demons from hell so they don't know where us humans are.

I'm finally back with enough energy and motivation to write this... barely. Haven't got much sleep the past days, since I stayed up for a whole day and woke up at 8am today. I haven't woke up at 8am in years, and if I am up at 8 in the morning, I'm still up from the night before! My friend wanted me to get in on his league for Fantasy Football, so I'm giving that a try this year. I don't really watch much football, ( I only started to watch because of my new HDTV and I had a little money on some games) but Gus said it would be a lot more fun when you do this fantasy stuff. I'll try almost anything once, just for the experience.

I've put Bioshock on the backburner a little, since when I try to get my time in on the game, more people than ever are trying to contact me on the phone and hangin out. I now know what I need to do when I need everyone's attention; say I'm going to be gone for a week!

First I'll talk about the movie you must see at the movies.... Superbad. It's about best friends on there last days of high school and they are trying to get laid before college. It takes place in a whole day kinda like dazed and confused and is laugh out loud the whole way through. I can't think of just one funny part, because the whole damn movie is hilarious. From the makers of 40 year old virgin add this one to your must see movies. Reason why i've been up all day yesterday was because Friday is usually the only day I can kick it with my brother since he moved out. The schedule I have doesn't really work out for him ( I don't think it works for anyone but me) so I had to get up at 11:30am to get prepared for the movie. ( you know how I do it) I actually didn't get no sleep so 24hrs, but I was ready to laugh at some funny's! We went to go see Balls of Fury, and if you like ping pong you'll prolly like this movie. It definitely had it's funny moments, but it wasn't no Superbad, I can tell you that right now. Had a good cast and as you would expect lots of balls flying. No spoilers here, but I would give it a C+.

I seen this crazy show on BET called "We Gotta Do Better" hosted by Charles Murphy. ( what else do you need to say) It features crazy ass clips featuring some Hot Ghetto Mess, and then Charles comments on them. Most of it was hilarious, but unfortunately it was the season finale. I'm sure there will be repeats though so keep your eyes peeled. Also I was unaware they made a second season to Wonder Showzen. It's a kids show for adults and pretty good on the funny scale. I actually seen a episode with David Cross and Zack Galifianakis ( comedians) which was called horse apples. From what I seen it was pretty good, so I'll have to look out for it on DVD, I already have the first season and thought they canceled it for being so raw. Good job MTV for making an actually funny show!

Now for the Must haves for video game consoles! First off, 360 news. This should've came out with the launch of the 360 since it's so useful. I'm talking about the The Xbox 360 Messenger Kit. This kit includes a backlit Chatpad that pops on to the bottom of your controller and a special headset that attaches to it. The two sell for $30, and I think that's a decent price plus the bonus headset. ( although it's a wired headset) This comes out Sept. 4th along with The Limited Edition Halo 3 Wireless Controllers and Headset. The controllers look pretty ugly to me, and I sure as hell wouldn't want to pay money for em.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix hit XBLA and the PSN this week. For those who have not played this game is one of the best underrated games from the PlayStation years. This game doesn't have much to do with puzzles, but it's rather an addictive game you can play for hours against your fellow challengers. I would describe it as a lil tetris flavor with 10 crack rocks and huge jems you can make and destroy and let crap fall down on your opponents screen.
Streets of Rage 2 also came out from the Sega classic collection. Good game, only 400 points too, while puzzle fighter is 800 points but worth every little point. A bunch of demos also came out on XBLA. Those include the new Medal of Honor game Airborne, it has a huge sandbox and you can pick where you land in the game via parachute. Also the Timeshift demo is out, the title says it all... you can control time ans shit. The new skateboarding game .Skate, NHL 08, Tiger Woods 08, Madden 08, and Blazing Angels 2 demo came out as well, so you can try before you buy!

for the Ps3, Warhawk came out finally and you can buy via the PSN, or pick up a copy at a store. puzzle fighter also came out on PSN, which I mentioned, and Lair came out but it got a 4.9 rating from IGN! PASS! Also the PS3 version of Stranglehold won't be out until the 23rd of Sept. The 360 version will be out on the 4th Sept, while the pc and ps3 owners will have to wait. I wonder why they keep on pushing it back? A bunch of stuff also came out on the PSN recently also, so if you own a PS3 check it all out!

For the Wii, Metroid 3 came out, and it's a must buy for sure. Pretty kewl style of a FPS ( first person shooter) since your using the wii-remote and the nunchuck. I had a feeling it would be good since Resident Evil 4 plays so great on the wii. Another must own title! Brunswick Bowling came out, but it's not even online compatible! WEAK! I was planning on picking this up, but no online? I want to play bowling with my friend in Vietnam! I couple Fishing games are on the horizon, I hope they are online and great gameplay! ( crossing fingers and toes)

Well, that's about it for me. I plan on playing some poker for labor day and spending time hanging out with my longtime friend Gus while he's in town. After that, maybe I can get back to my Bioshock. My bros been bitchin at me that I play a game for a bit and then go onto the next, which results in 20 games unfinished. I REALLY need to stick with one and beat it and go onto the next. That reminds me I'm still making my list of every game I beaten and played.... Coming SOON!

( 2nd part of his birthday gift) A little stugget I've been saving for 6 months just for this occasion?....check. 3 rechargable battery packs.... check. 4 cases of Nestea...check. Snacks for the long journey.... damn, I need to get that one still. Clean pair of shorts...check. Ready to shut out the whole world until I'm ready....check.

I just wanted to let you all know I'll be taking a leave of absence on my site for a little bit until I get enough of a bioshock fix that I can get back to the real world 100%. By now if you've been reading my site you know at least a little of the game Bioshock, but today, it is finally here on it's release date. And it is now 7:28am and I am playing the UPS waiting game. I kept on refreshing the tracking site like it was a contest to see who could click the refresh button the most; and I won. Right now my game is at it's last stop before going on the truck, and right now I'm at my danger zone.... I've been up for 15 hours and this is usually when I go to bed. I don't want to sleep because I have to sign for the package, and I want to sleep because I want to be awake.... what do I do???

I'm the kind of person that when I see something kick ass I want to tell all the people I know about it because I want them to enjoy it as much as I did/think I will. Bioshock is definitely an example; I have my bro and wolfgang that are goin to be playing it pretty much at the same time so I hope they will enjoy it as much as I will. It's almost like a 420 kind of thing were we puff in unison, only we are shocking people with electricity from our bare hands at the same time! Nothing much going on this whole week beside me being MIA. Another game called Two Worlds came out today too for 360. So far people have been saying it's pretty kewl and unexpected.... but I'll have to see for myself and let you all know. If you find out before me, let me know and I'll post your review on it.

Another kick ass game is coming out next week. Midway's Stranglehold the sequel to the movie Hard Boiled. This is a Authentic John Woo Video Game Experience, since John Woo was in on making the game as well as Chow Yun Fat doing all the voice overs and spending a great deal of time on the ame. I wanted to preorder this game.. I still might, but I think I can hold off on this game until I'm done with Bioshock. There's no reason to rush through a great game, so I'm taking my time. Well that's all I have to say for now. I'm sure I'll be posting little nuggets of info, and if I do you will know!

Update: 7:27 8/14/07 - 2k games ( makers of Bioshock ) apologize to the people that want to play the PC demo of Bioshock. Here is a quote from the publisher.

"We tried as hard as humanly possible to get it out to you guys simultaneously with the 360 demo, but we needed to make sure that it was perfect — that all drivers were ready, and that the game looked great on a huge variety of computers. Currently, the PC demo [is] in its final stages of testing and approval. We are pushing to get it out to you as soon as possible. It will be out during the month of August, and everyone is working at full capacity to deliver it to you before the game hits store shelves on August 21st."

Yes yes I stayed up and watched the official trailer for Bioshock on Spike TV and they had a speial announcement after the trailer. I thought it was goin to be something non exciting, but boy did they ever excite a man without getting a schwing! (waynes world reference wtf?) They announced that the BioShock demo is available now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news I have to wait until Wed. to play the demo! NOOOOOOOOOO!!

Pretty short and sweet today. I found out my 360 will be arriving this wednesday!!!!! I wanted to play a little online poker to practice for my friends big poker tournament tomorrow and lil E pops up on the IM radar and has the same idear. Long story short I actually was down to 300 in chips, but ended up playing a super long heads up with this guy, and ending up taking the win! Now I'm bout to pop a couple flicks in and watch em and try and get a lil shut eye.

I ran out of watch instantly time on my netflix subscription and wanted to watch a movie NOW, and not pay 4$ either, so I hit up vongo.com it's another instantly watch site and they are offering a 14 day free trial right now, so I hit that up so I could watch a movie. I selected Scary Movie 4, (it was one of the only good new comedys they had so I picked it. I get halfway through and I'm just about to crack open a fresh can of Emerald honey roasted peanuts and and my laptop crashes. If you haven't ever had emerald nuts, they are the best nuts ever, and expensive! Just pick your favorite nut and buy a can. Anyhoo, There goes my whole night. stayed up until 4am trying to fix the damn thing. I still wanted to watch a movie and eat my delicious nuts, so I ended up paying 5$ to watch a PPV movie on demand..... what a crap night. At least the movie was in HD.... the movie was Dead Silence, from the director of Saw. it was ight.

Right now I'm trying this last attempt to recover my half broken already laptop. I have to wipe the whole thing out for this attempt. I'm about half way there and really hope it works. I need a new pc and laptop and don't have money for either. In other news, gaming website Kotaku

Primitive Days, Birthdays and Paper Mario Nights

Had another fun filled weekend back up in Madison. This time it was my friend Nick's kid Jasmine's birthday. She's 4 now and what better age to get a computer! Wolfgang and I, picked up a My First Computer, I remember seeing those things and it looked pretty kewl, plus Leap Frog makes pretty good learning tools. We also picked up like 3 different games so she can tear it up with the knowledge. The kewl thing about it is she can also bring it with her on trips to grandmas house and what not. We also picked up a web camera for Nick & Katie, so we can see the family on the Internet and vise versa. That camera actually will follow your face... pretty kewl.... I want one!

After hitting up a couple of stores me and Wolfgang hit the road for the 2 hour journey. I'm finding myself hating to go long distances without any entertainment to make the boredom go by, especially music. Music is by far a must and good music at that. It makes the drive go by so much faster since your jammin out on some good ol tune-age. We both had our Ipods so hit had the way up and I had the way back.

The Birthday party was a pretty good time, and I also seen some faces I haven't seen in awhile so that was kewl as well. Kids have a lot of energy! Geez, I pretty much goofed off and played with Jasmine to wear her out to go to bed, and that was definitely a challenge! I think she stayed up till midnight and then the sandman came.

After the slumber party and a pizza for brakefast later, we hit the road back home. I finally get home and crash out hard and wake up and... Suprise no internets! So I call up tech support and go through the bullshit automated messaging support that never works, and then finally talk to tech support. After 30 min on the phone we came to the conclusion that the modem is shot. So, no internet! what the hell am I going to do? It feels so primitive when you don't have internet it's crazy how much you use it and you don't really realize how much you actually do use the internet for different things like porno, to email, to checking what the hell a bukkake is on wikipedia!

Well I'm back finally online with the internet and here is some gaming news! Today a new demo released and the name of the game is John Woo's sequel to Hard Boiled... Stranglehold. You lucky ones that have a 360, will have the glory of the first taste of this game. This is already on my Pre-ordered list, and another game on my hit list. This is a great moment that I hate not having my 360. REPAIR IT GOOD MS!

In more 360 news it's confirmed new premium 360's with HDMI inputs are already showing up in stores and Microsoft has confirmed this. I price cut, a HDMI input, a new PC 65nm chip? (maybe) MS is stepping it up right before Madden 08 comes out as well. Oh yeh PS3 will only have 30 fps while the 360 version will have double the dose.... yes 60fps!

Here's a couple of horror games that look pretty sick coming out. This first one is a PS3 game by the name of Imabikisou. Has a kinda RingU feel to it, but looks pretty dark and actual scary game to play.

Techland the makers of the FPS, Call of Juarez and Warhound just announced that they are bringing their shooting-stuff talents to the zombie-killing genre. I'm a zombie junkie,sucker, whatever is more addicted to zombies, this is another game that just got added to my Gotta get list. This is coming out on PC and 360 due next year takes place on a mysterious island. After a plane crash, you have to hunt through the zombie-infested paradise looking for your wife... I hope they make that wife or husband. Anyhoo, the game is said to have amazing damage modeling (think torn flesh, exposed muscles, broken bones), an "artificial life system" that will allow you to take advantage of the instinctive behavior of groups and individuals, an open, non-linear world and the ability to use the world around you as weapons.

Grand Theft Auto IV Delayed To 2008

Just when there's good news, the bad news comes along right after the good sooner or later. Rockstar just announced that GTAIV to be delayed until the 2nd quarter of 2008!!!!! BOGUS! I'm sure I'll be entertained with the fall lineup enough to hold me off until 08, but delays are popping up left and right lately! As long as my child... Bioshock will be born on Aug 21st, I will be content.... for now. Another Delay is Lair (u play a dragon) for PS3. The Makers of Lair is saying, it's because they are fixing leaderboards, but I smell bullshiznit.

If you weren't home, or not up early enough to watch the first world series of videogames on CBS of all channels. I actually didn't get to watch it, and have been trying to find the footage so I can watch it. I watched a interview on how the WSVG on CBS was, and they said it was OK, but they paid more attention to the tricks people could do, for instance on Guitar Hero 2 guitar tricks, instead of playing the game competitively like it should be. If you haven't seen the new Call of Duty 4, it's pretty damn sick looking and looks very intense! When they showed it at E3 they also announced that there will be a public beta for Call of Duty 4 very soon! But here's some bad news for people that don't live in America.... you lose.

These cars goes 50mph top speed and can fly up to high story buildings as well, and have special cars to save people from buildings. I couldn't add a video on my site so here's the link. Back to some more game news. Electronic Arts are blaming the slow growth on PS3. EA boss John Riccitiello has said that while the company was all over the PS2, the lack of sales on the PS3 is hurting: " Point blank, this cycle is developing quite differently than the last cycle. The next-gen hardware build is going a little more slowly.

This time, there's been some unexpected strength with the Wii and the PS3 hasn't--yet--performed as well as we expected it to. That probably has a bigger impact than any other factor on our margins." Let the Blame games begin!

I figured I'd write this up while I'm waiting for my dinner vietnamese rollups to be done, but some good news today for me and all the people who want to play manhunt 2! there is a chance! I actually preordered this game since it was spose to come out in July but sadly it received a AO rating (adults only), which the ESRB usually use the AO rating for games with boobies and snatches, but for a psy horror game? WTF? To get you people that don't know what's been going on, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony doesn't allow AO rated games, so Manhunt can't even be played! So Rockstar the company who makes GTA IV and Manhunt can either edit the game, and have puppies instead of chainsaws like the picture on the right, or appeal the AO rating, or be done with the game all together. Well good news today!

After nearly six weeks of silence since UK's Manhunt 2 ban, Rockstar has filed for a hearing with the Videogame Appeals Committee, an entity with the power to overturn the existing ruling by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification).

A date will be set for a hearing, in which the VAC panel will view demonstrations of the game while weighing each side's arguments. I really hope Rockstar can pull this one off and promise not to put any codes in like hot coffee or a code that shows your wiener. I'd like to play this on the Wii with all it's bloody horror glory, and say video games are a form of art.

Heavenly Sword demo came out on PS3 last week and I've seen some gameplay and it looks like God of War time three. PS3 title Heavenly Sword wasn't always a PLAYSTATION 3 game. Back in 2003, a "concept trailer" for the game appeared, and the game was apparently destined for the Xbox. The game's developer, then known as Just Add Monsters, made one game for Microsoft and then went bust. By 2004, GameSpot reporting that the game was in development for "next-generation consoles," while the company said it was looking for publishers. A year later, the game was a PS3 exclusive.

Here's a couple of last minute nuggets of news for ya. Nirvana's album Nevermind will be available for Rock Band after the games release. A new patch for Shadowrun is available which makes the load times under a minute now and other fixes as well. Yes yes yes.... some great great news today today! If you haven't heard Bungie was having a lot of problems getting the Single player Co-op 4 player campaign mode to work online. I was thinking to myself, Gears of War seem do to it fine, but this must be pretty tough if even Bungie can't figure out how to get a 4 player Co-op to work. Bungie said if they can't get it done by the release, they would finish it later and make it available via download. Today is some great news though, as I inform you that Halo 3 will indeed be 4 player Co-op with the single player campaign.

Here's the details, the game will support four-player co-op via both Live and System Link with up to two player per a television on split-screen. To access the game you go into the lobby and set the mode as Campaign and then invite your friends. Unfortunately, you won't be able to drop into an active co-op game. In other news, my parents own this house and the fucking tenants burned it down yesterday night. It's actually in the Local paper today in the Journal times on the front page. The cause of the fire? She poured the used charcoal after grilling out in the garbage. The tenant thought it was all out. Definition of a dumbass .

Ok, back to some gaming news.... for those peeps that are into driving games and don't want to spend a shitload of money on a steering wheel might want to get this little accessory for your 360. This little do-dad lets you just nudge the controller, making the cars more precise to control instead of crashing into the walls!
Here's a link for a review on it, it's fairly cheap as well, so if you like forza games and don't want to buy a steering wheel this might be for you. Speedfreak accessory review.

Also in more Video game racing news Nissan Brings 2007 Cars to Forza Motorsport 2. The first nuggets of downloadable content for Turn 10 Studios' Forza Motorsport 2 will be available to download just hours from now, scheduled to hit Xbox Live at 2 AM PDT late tonight/early tomorrow morning. The first pack is free and features three Nissan rides, the 2007 sentra SE-R, Altima, and 350Z. Slightly less attractive for Microsoft Point misers is the Peugeot 908 race car which one can download from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 50 MS points, about 63 cents. Second Red Ring of Death Strike Upon Thee

Second red ring of death you say? Yes... This is because this has happened before. The first one lasted almost a year before it bricked on me. I bought it at Circuit City and didn't by their protection plan at first and the lady said I had 30 days to do so. I soon then changed my mind when I heard motorboat noises come out of the 360 when playing DeadRising.

Sure enough not much longer the 360 starts freezing and then finally bricks on me with a red ring giving me the evil eye. So I sent it all back and they sent me a refund via gift card.

Not long after purchasing the 360 from C&C music factory, I get almost the same symptoms, freezing, then get a checkerboard like screen, and that's the 360's way of saying his last words before he dies. This box actually only lasted about 4 months before dying. This time though, it's actually free to repair by MS, but I seen the email says it takes 4-6 weeks to get it back... WTF? I surely hope not, because I might start a riot if I don't get to play BIOSHOCK the first day it come out! Shit I'll go loco if I don't get it before the demo comes out! Yes, the demo is coming very soon, and I'll let you know for sure when. If I don't get my xbox by then, please tell me how it is! Maybe you can record the gameplay while your playin it? Yeh I'm a little hyped about the release..... it's definitely my most awaited game of the year thus far.

I just got back from Madison and stayed up there for the weekend to hang out with my friends, and also for my friends B-day Katie. Only 24 years old... man I remember when I was that young, now I'm almost ready to get gag presents like fart pills and over the hill coffee cups. we got a barrel for the party and meat and corn on the grill and ice cream cones in the freezer, now that's what I call a fucking PARTY! I had a pretty good time when I wasn't working. I pretty much spent 75% of my 3 day weekend setting up Nicks new computer and new plasma 50 inch hdtv. getting all the software installed, the crap the added uninstalled, virus protectors, bookmarks,browsers, routers, all that fun stuff!

My friend Nick has always been outdated in the computer department.... you know, has a 56k modem and a shit pc that makes a high pitch noise that makes cats and babies throw up, when you turn it on. And also that piece of shit computer only would stay on for less than 5 min, before you got to hear the pleasant noise and it would just freeze up.

But finally he went all out; he got a new pc, a new plasma, and now is living the good life with a cable modem. So he has A LOT of catching up to do on the internet, and the whole family will be entertained for life! You don't realize how much you use the internet until your without it and need to know something. Just like my damn 360! Microsoft knows the 360 has a design flaw that makes some xbox's fugg up and brick, hence the new 3yr warranty. If they didn't have so many great games and those damn addictive achievement points I would just say fuck it and get a different console.

I find myself seeing a game that's on every console I own, but one has achievement points so I go for the 360 version. I own a Wii right now too, but I find myself playing the xbox 3x more than the wii. Right now at the moment it's because there's no games out right now, but that soon will change, but the 360 has such a great lineup this year that I will be definitely gamin it up hard the rest of this year! what a line up and what a treat what a treat!

While I'm awaiting for my 360 to be fixed, (and hopefully updated with the new heatsink placement away from the motherboard) I still have a handful of games that need my attention to beating, so that will definitely keep me busy like Bizzy B! Right now I'm in the middle of playing Scarface: The World is Yours for the wii. That game is pretty kewl, and has a ton of voice overs from celebrities we all know. Before checking it out, one gamesite game it a great score while the other one game it a lame score so I had to see for myself and me likes. Has a kinda GTA feel to it while enhanced scarface style, and looks like they put some effort into creating the game. So I have that and paper mario and shit, I still have to beat zelda as well! I also have God of War 2 i'm playing at the moment and Bully. That is until I found out that Bully will be ported to the Wii and 360 so, that game is on pause at the moment until I buy it for 360... so I get more achievement points ha ha! They'll be upping up the graphics as well too, so good for Rockstar that game is a good one.

Well peeps that own 360's, that gives you a chance to get a little ahead on some achievement points while I'm out for the count right now. The closest person closest to me is my bro, by the gamertag of FARTBURGER. he claims he will be doubling his points now that his is moved out of the parents house. We will see Jason..... We will see. I'm challenging you all to get more points and to try and get more than me. Congrats to Jason and Emily for getting a nice lil place to live and for Jason for getting the Fuck outta the danger zone we call my parents house. One day that will happen for me... again. On the news side, I'm going to be posting links on my site instead of mailing out stuff for the time being and see how it works out, just to test it out and see how it goes. I wrote a lil extra this time because I've been outta town.

This is the first post on my new site I'm goin to do. I tried to do one on poker.... I tried to do one on music.... I tried to do one about everyday life.... and they all are DEAD now. So I figured why just make one damn site? Sound like it would be much more simple.

Well here it is! This is pretty much going to be a anything goes site for now until I actually have some categories, but I know for a fact I'll be talking about video games and video games stuff, followed by me ranting on certain things. I usually send out a mailing list as well with new info on games and what not, and if you ever want in, register and hit me up with a PM and your email!

Since this is the first post, this is mostly a test so this falls under the category... " this bores me "

But just to let you know, it's only a month until Bioshock, so I leave you with... The Bioshock Countdown!

The family be Clubbin until the wheels fall off!

I wanted to try and write about each and every day that goes on here in Vietnam, but there's so much to do and so little time that I haven't been able to do so. It's already Sunday here in Vietnam (we're a day ahead) and it seems like only a day or so has gone by. On friday we decided to do a little shopping and hit the market. The market is pretty much 7 mile fair in Wisconsin where you can pretty much find anything you want; but here in vietnam it's so much better. They have everything from jewelry like jade bracelets, necklaces, rings, statues, toys, any kind of asian food you can think of; clothes, footwear, fabric, electronics, souvenirs, etc. I could go on an on, but I think you get the point…. That’s the place to go shopping!

The kewl thing about it is that most of the places you can bargin for different things, so if that’s your kind of thing you can bargin to get the lowest price on an item or just look somewhere else for it, for a cheaper price. My cousin Linh is definitely a pro at it though. What we would do is, if I wanted something I would tell here and then she would tell the person selling the item to go lower and if they wouldn’t go down to a price we would like, we would walk away.

Now this is where my impulse kicks in, and I’m definitely bad at that. If I want something I usually want it then and there. So the first time we did the bargining, and we were walking away my impulse instinct kicked in and I kept telling my brother and Linh, that we should go back and just get the item I wanted. But Linh just winked at me and my brother said just watch and hold up….. And sure enough the person selling the item, would come running up to us telling us that they well sell the item we wanted for the price we wanted. It was bargining at it’s finest, and I have Linh to thank for that. I think if I want to go shopping anywhere I have to take her with!

After we done a little shopping and hanged out at the hotel, we went out to look for this restaurant my mom seen in this Vietnam book. If you have never went to Vietnam, the streets are crazy with traffic with people in cars, bikes and mopeds and bicycles. If you thought Chicago traffic was crazy you should go here! I actually think that the Vietnamese people are better drivers, but there are so many people riding vehicles that it’s very intimidating to cross the street. You pretty much have to just pick a spot and just go, and just walk slowly, otherwise your arse will get hit! Another thing is you can’t ever hesitate otherwise you’ll get hit as well, but after the first couple times you’ll get use to walking in the street.

We couldn’t find the place my mom was looking for so we went to this place that was recommended by some local security guard out in the street that was across from where he was at. It was pretty good food considering I’m the most picky eater in the world! I actually ordered a Australian steak with fries (my cuz from Australia calls them chips) and my brother ordered this orange chicken. I wish I would’ve picked what my brother did because that stuff was great! My brother keeps trying to find that plate at every restaurant we go to now, and I have to agree with him, it was excellent! The food was actually a little more expensive then a usual restaurant, but I think it was well worth it.

Our bellies were all full, and we wanted to go out dancing, so we went out to hit the clubs and see how they did it Vietnamese style. The first club we went to, was actually right next door, so that was really kewl because we didn’t have to do any walking around. I really don’t care how far we go because these days I’m not walking I’m just rolling! My brother does all of the pushing, so I have to give big props to him helping me out. One thing is for sure in Vietnam; it’s definitely not a place for wheelchairs. The sidewalks (if you can call them that, are all uneven and have potholes and big curbs ranging from 8 inches to 2 feet, so my brother Jason is always having a workout pushing my arse around! They are some ramps by the edge of the curbs, but everybody parks there motorcycles on the sidewalk so half the time Jason’s pushing me in the street with all the hundreds of drivers. Since I have been here I have not seen 1 WHEELCHAIR! That’s prolly why everybody looks at us when we are walking around. That, and because we are also tourists.

So let me get back to talking about the club. I forgot the name of the club, but it was on the second floor ( more steps yippie for me and Jason!) and when we got upstairs and went it it was dark as hell. It was so dark that the people working there would shine a flashlight on the ground to show us where to sit down. It was like a restaurant slash club, and when we went in there, we saw a couple of people dancing to the band that was playing this jazz rock Vietnamese music. After a couple of minutes a guy came by us and flashed his flashlight at the menu to show us what was on the menu to drink. We were there for about 10 minutes and then the band stopped playing, and then all of a sudden this house beat kicked in and everybody got up and started dancing! One this is for sure in Vietnam…. They love there house/techno music!

There was actually an older crowd of people dancing to the music, which surprised me because I didn’t think many people over 35 liked electronic music, but there they were kickin a groove to the beats. I’d like to point out the all the older people were men and they were dancing with women that looked half their age. The club had decent lights, but for some reason they just mostly used the strobe lights. My mom and dad actually came with us and they had their hands over their eyes practically the whole time the house music was goin on, because of the strobe lights. We were about to go, but after 30 minutes, the house music stopped and the band came back to play, so we decided to stay a little bit longer because they were playing a couple slow songs and gus,linh,mom and my dad got up and slow danced.

We decided to leave after a couple of slow songs, and my ozzy (Australian) and Vietnamese cousins wanted to hit up another club so off we went! My mom and dad actually wanted to come to another club, so we all went. It kinda surprised me because my mom hasn’t really ever went to a club, and my dad looked pretty jet lagged. We found this other nightclub not to far away call the Rainforest. When we went in it looked just like a club you would see in the states. They had a couple of tables in the back and the dance floor took up the rest of the room. They had a DJ spinning some house,techno and everybody looked like they were having a good time. Someone was having a birthday because there was TV screens saying happy birthday to the person, and someone on the mic would say happy birthday every 10 minutes as well.

The DJ wasn’t that good though, because at one time he just killed the flow ( a sign of a bad DJ ) and at one poin the played a remix version of MC Hammer, “ You Can’t Touch This “, so when I heard that I just laughed out loud. It was pretty packed, but the music all stopped at midnight because it was more of a restaurant than a club, which kinda surprised me because it looked straight up like a club from the states. When the music stopped at midnight we all left and went to the hotel to sleep, because we had to get up early to do another adventure the next day.

Well that pretty much sums it all up for that day! I’m actually 2 days behind on telling you what happened, but I’m not going to forget what happened on those days. I will write about it as soon as I can get on the internet again and actually have time to do so again. We are actually going to another hotel at this resort by the ocean called Vung Tau and are getting up at 8am. I’ve been up writing all this for about 2 hours now and it’s midnight already, so I have to get some sleep in. ( if you don’t know me that well, I LOVE SLEEP)

I’ll be writing about the day after this and the next day as soon as I get some time again….. But until then…. Raise that Pot!

Touchdown T-minus 26 hour later

Well I'm finally here and wow, what a journey! We started from Chicago and then took a Korean Air all the way to Souel which was a exhausting 13 hour & 1/2hr flight. It was a pretty decent flight though, they gave us a kewl little pouch with a pair of socks, toothbrush, eye mask, and all that good stuff for the plane ride. They keep feeding us with little things and 2 main meals, and had 2 movies on the flight as well, but one movie was the crappy sequel to Zorro and this korean movie, that I only watched half us, because the person in front of me had a big ass head.

We finally got off the flight and they we were layed over in Korea for 3 hours. The Korean airport was pretty kewl though. Every thing was high in technology... even the bathrooms. A carton of cigs was only 15 bucks!!!! I don't even smoke... but I had to buy a carton just cause, and I could hook anyone up with a smoke if they asked me for money. They had this wacky game show on TV, at the airport, where there were a bunch of guys and they were trying to guess how many fingers a person was holding, but the person would wave his hand around super fast so it was real difficult to see how many fingers he was holding. If the person guessed wrong, the guy holding up the fingers, would flick the guy who got it wrong right in the head! It was funny as hell and I didn't have to understand the language. They reality shows are way better than ours in america. I could watch that for ever an ever.

After that me and my bro went out to get our last burger, before the good ol nam, so we hit up the good old burger king for my last double bacon cheeseburger. It costed 15000 W in korean money. I really don't know how much that is in american, but it wasn't that much. I'll know exactly how much it was when I go back... I'll take a look at the currency rate.

I munched down my burger, and watched the rest of that crazy game show. After that I busted out my poker chips and a deck of cards ( yes i brought chips and cards... I'm a poker player for life!) to teach my mom how to play poker. It took about 1hr to teach her all the basics, an she understands it alot more, but still don't know the names of the hands. But She actually played pretty good for the first time, so next time I watch poker on TV, she will understand it alot better and get into it alot more. I actually played heads up on the plane with my brother too. We played 2 outta 3 and I took it down. ( who else you think won?)

It was finally time to leave the korean airport and go to Vietnam finally! So it was another 5 hours until touchdown at Ho Chi Minh city. We had yet ANOTHER meal, and after that I just tried to sleep and listen to that new Harland Williams comedy CD. Of coarse he did a wookie joke and did the chewbacka yell. DDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRR!

When we got to the Vietnam airport, it was if we went back in time 20 years. The airport was all basic with old desks and everything out of date technologywise. The bathrooms were small and simple and I could barely get my wheelchair in there to pee. One thing is for sure.... Vietnam wasn't built for peeps in wheelchairs!!!!!

One the ride to the hotel, it was crazy! They hardly have any traffic lights and mopeds and motorcycles everywhere! You think chicago is bad, come to Vietnam.... Traffic is insane! You definately have to keep your eyes peeled, because they will be a moped to the left,right,back,front of you!

Well I'm going to get back to talking and socializing with the whole family. I'll hop back on and update whenever I get some more free time. My hotel has a internet cafe, so I'll be updating it more than I though.

Vietnam foo! Yup, as I speak my whole family is racing to have everything ready for the long trip. It's about a 14 hours flight there, plus a 4 hour layover in korea. We will be goin to Chicago to Korea, and then from Korea to Vietnam. My old man said that there will be wifi on the actual plane, and I hope so, so I can have a little more time to update and tell you more things about the trip. In Vietnam they have only dial up, but at least they have a internet connection. I brought alot of things to keep me entertained on the trip, and my doctor prescribed some sleepin pills too, in case I want to sleep on the trip; since it is 14 hours! I'm going to try and see if there's any poker rooms there in the good ol Ho Chi Minh and I'll comeback and touchdown as soon as I can plug in. Until then, Raise that pot!

It's been awhile!

It's been awhile since I've posted anything in my blog, and the reason why is after the 2 month binge in Minnisota, I have been chillin pretty hard at home. I'm just about back to normal mode after coming back and have paid all my bills (most of them) and replied back to everyone trying to get ahold of me since I left.

On the poker side of things, I've been barely playing compared to the played I did before. Right now I play about an hour or two of limit at the 1/2$ tables online. Why have I gone down to 1/2$ now? Well limit online is a little different than live play, but I've been spending alot of time studying the game of No Limit Tournaments since that is my best game. Since the last time I wrote, I've won a 400$ freeroll and 1st prize was $80. So that's not too shabby, and I've been doing pretty decent on the sit n go tournaments as well. I just have been playing alot less tournaments (for now)

I plan on going back to full speed and upping the ante to $10,$20 Sng's as soon as I get done doing a couple things I've been meaning to finish for a long time. For instance, I've bought a 5 disc dvd on poker from gus hansen and friends, that I haven't had time to watch and also I have a couple books I need to finish up on as well. In fact I'll be finishing up a book as soon as I get this blog entry finished.

Poker School has been pretty kewl, although I've only been to one seminar since I came back, but I'm ready and I'm not going anywhere for a month I can do alot of catching up and attend a ton of seminars. For those of you who haven't heard about this school, it's run by Brett Jungblut the wsop bracelet winner for Omaha hi/low in 2004. Here's a link of the site Pro Poker School

Road to Perdition

I only got 4 hours rest before I went to bed, so I was pretty tired to go and almost didn't. But I told Paul I wanted a ride the day before, so I just went. THAT WAS THE 1ST MISTAKE ( I wanted to read a little more info on limit) Paul asked me if I had seen what was outside, and I responded no of coarse, since I don't see the outside very often. I'm like a cat that hisses when it feels like it is threatened. He showed me a mountain of snow outside and so we put on the snow chains for my wheelchair and off we were! The salt from truckers tires got all over Paul's window when we were driving, and the washer fluid wasn't squirting high enough to clean the window, so we pretty much Ace Ventura'ed it all the way to the next gas station, with a couple wrong exits and turns in the mix, but we finally got to the club; body parts still attached.

I ate my usual brakefast and off the the tables I was! The table I was at pretty much sucked after my first hand (so far every time I sat down at a table for the first time, I win the pot) because there were two maniacs at the table. So there was no seeing a flop with out it being raised at least once preflop. Half the time it was capped! I played when I had good cards to play and of coarse it was capped preflop by this d00d named chester, but I flop a nut flush. Of coarse the pot is capped almost every turn, and he gets his 2 outer on the river on me. So I put my name on the board to move to a different seat as fast as I could.

I got to the next table and this table was even worse! Every hand I would play I would get sucked out on the river! It happened so much the dealer was like, "man, you've been having horrible beats man you should take a brake." It was good advice because I was starting to steam then and he simmered it down a little....... but not enough. I started loosining my starting hands and started calling turns and rivers when I should've just folded, and had the patience to get premium hands. So, I was definately not playing my A-game after all those beats, and playing marginal hands after getting beat all those times, made me loose double when I should've just lost on the bad beats. I actually didn't win a hand until after sitting there for 2 hours, because I either got beat on the river or the hands were just so terrible that I had to just fold and be gone with the hands. and that just lost me more money. Like I said before and I'll say it again, Limit and No Limit are poker games the they play like night and day compared to the two.

In the end I came out negative, but walked out with some valuable, but expensive lessons. Lets hope they pay off!

Preboot Camp

I'm back here for round two of the Canterbury Park mission, and going to invest my time and Bankroll towards limit for now, and I think it's going to be a very good investment at that. I've been here for about 5 days now getting all situated and I wanted to catch up on some knowledge before I sit back down again. Not that I couldn't sit down right now, I just wanted to be prepared for everything and anything, especially getting every extra ducket that I can in the pot.

The Wolf, my bro and me have been all crammed up in one room for the past 4 days because Paul didn't come up until later, but finally arrived today at 6am. I stayed up until he came, and then had a little session before bedtime. My bro and I just got done rearranging our room, so we are all situated now and I'm just waiting for his ass to get home from the gym, so I can grip on some food. He actually goes to the gym after he works for 10 hours! Reason why is so he whole body doesn't get outta wack, because he only uses certain muscles while working. I guess he don't want to look like Popeye. My plan is to hit up the Park on saturday and try and work my mojo. Saturday is always a good day for the bones to be rollin. Hopefully my way!

The Canterbury Park Plan

I got a good nights rest, the day before and was pretty hyped to get there ( I actually had trouble sleeping for a couple hours because I was thinking to much. I got myself out of bed and made sure Paul was up, and he decided to just take me to the Park, and my bro would drive to work with Wolf. Just as we arrived at the Park, Paul gets a call from my brother saying his car won’t start so poor Paul had to go back to the hotel to pick those cats up and then go to work. But enough about them, lets get to the casino.

The place was pretty dead since it was 6:30am, but as long as there’s a table for me to play on I don’t care. I wanted to have a little breakfast first so I got me my favorite breakfast meal, 2 eggs, 2 toast, 4 pieces of bacon and a glass of OJ. I have a whole system for eating the meal, but I won’t get into that. I gave the service lady a generous of enough tip that she said it made her start of the day.

I put my name up on the board for the 2/4 and got called before I could even check the coat I borrowed from Paul. After I got back and sat in my seat, I took a hundo in chips an started my day off. I doubled up pretty quickly, but then caught some bad luck on a couple big pots that were capped. One had I had the nut flush and this guy hit his out on the river and gave him a full house.

The hand that really got me was when I was in mid position and had a pocket pair of deuces, and this guy that bought in with 20 and looked like Coolio, capped it preflop and I was heads up with d00d. The flop came 2,3,3 rainbow, and I flopped a full house. The turn was a 6 and we capped it with 4 bets. I put him on a set of 3’s by now and the river came a 7. For some reason he slowed down and just checked and I bet 4 and he called.

I flip over my 2’s and he flips over 7,3! I felt like going to the bathroom to go and throw up. He was trying to buy the pot preflop and thought I was just bluffing for some reason, prolly because I was winning alot of hands, while he was at the table. My bankroll went all the way down to 40 bones at one time, but I managed to hang on and kept on rolling.

When I first sat at the table there was this guy by the name of Aaron that sat next to me. He had been playing for more than 20 hours and still playing. He pretty much made the day go by just talking about poker among other things. One time this old d00d sitting next to Aaron, actually said, “ jesus Christ, will shut up for a second my hurting my ears!” Aaron replied back.. “ don’t say the lords name in vain”. After that I had to brake the ice because it was getting serious after that and the whole table was having fun before that.

Aaron stay there as long as I did,(27hours around) and he lost about 300 hundo while I was sitting at the table with him. He told me that he didn’t care if he won, he just played to see if he could stay up as long as he could and still do it. That’s not really the plan I would really go for, because if your tired, you will just make errors that you normally wouldn’t do, and it wouldn’t just stop after a couple of errors, which would mean more and more money lost on just trying to hit any 2 cards you have. You will start thinking that you have to play until you are even, but I learned that if you just stop playing while you are at a loss; you are already even in money. Just wait until the next day and start off fresh.

I played at that same table for 10 hours and it went by just like a snap of the fingers. At the end of the day I had 9 stacks of 40 sitting next to me and that was definately intimidating my opponents that were at my table. I walked out of there with 4 racks (360 bones) and a big grin on my face. The plan was a success, and I think I could grind this out just like I did every single day I play!

So Wolf and the Paul and my brother are off for the week for Thanksgiving and coming back on Sunday. I’ll be coming back with them as well, and I’ll be going to my job at the tables while they go do there job. Paul is nice enough to hook me up with a ride to the Park as long as I give him gas money, but of coarse that’s fine with me. I’ll even include brakefast, shit!

This is a great opportunity for me since I can’t get out of the house and go to the tables whenever I want and there isn’t a card club where I leave either so, this is the perfect for me to test out my limit holdem skills to the fullest. And I definitely need some more knowledge in the game, so I’ll be getting my SS2, and my Limit Holdem resources that I have never touched until now. It really sucks that they don’t have No Limit, but I don’t play so hot when it comes to No Limit cash games anyway. I think I see my future already. Me playing Limit Holdem for Cash Games and me Playing NLHE for the tournaments. Usually people play limit before no limit when they learn the game, but I guess I’m doing the vice-versa approach to it.

I never really was a big fan of the Limit but I’m starting to like it. I don’t think I would ever play it at any home game still, but as for the live play I’m down for it for now. We’ll see how it all goes in a couple of weeks.

Tournament at Canterbury Park

I missed the first tournament they had because I was in a funk and wasn't feeling it, but this time I was prepared and woke up fresh and my friends Paul & Wolf and my bro came home around 5:20pm and was pretty much ready to go. Just as I put on my shoes, I wanted to give a call at the card club to see if there was still room since it's 130 max. The registration started at 5pm and the tourney started at 7:30pm, so I gave a called and of coarse they are all sold out. Well that really sucked because I'm pretty much a tourney player, so I was really looking forward into getting at least ITM the tournament. Every minute that went by we were not feeling Canterbury Park, but we all gave that last umph and we were off to the races. (I guess they do actually have horseracing betting there)

It was the first time I seen snow outside in minnisota, and I was in for a real treat outside. And I thought Wisconsin weather was cold, shit!, if you like freezing parts of your body off like your ass, and ears that's the place to go. I was swearing and screaming ( I really really do hate the cold) until the heat finally started emitting out of the vents and I got some Mc d's in my belly.

We finally got there and it turned out that the place was a whole card club. So there wasn't any slots and that's what wolf and paul wanted to just do; Sit and relax and have some dranks. They decided to go hit up a bar while I play poker, but I didn't get a seat on a table for about an hour and a half. I also seen a bar in the back of the cardroom so wolf and paul didn't even have to leave. (they thought the only bars were outside the card room. ) I wanted to call them but my dumbass forgot my phone so I was going to call collect, but you know how much they are asking for a collect call from wis is? 9 fuggin dollars! I cashed in some of my chips to get some quarters to call up my brother and to tell paul that there was a bar in the card room and they could just chill there.

Well I finally got on a 2/4 table, I was on the waiting list for 3/6 too, and I was ahead 80 before my last 2 hands before I left. I had pocket Jacks and it was raised max preflop, and the flop comes Q,Q,3 and long story short it was raised to the max on the turn and me and another person called his bet on the river. What does he have? Q,3 of coarse...... limit I love it! So I made about 30 in a couple hours but that's how limit is, a less exciting game than No Limit, but you can make money if you take the time and patience to do it. That's what I plan on doing in a couple days. I'm going to go back there on friday and stay there the whole day while the boys are at work and see how I do playing Limit Holdem, my weakest game I play.

One thing I forgot to tell you is that I'm in my metal chair rolling around, and my feet rub the floor alot, and that of coarse conducts electricity, and then my ass gets zappped whenever I touch metal. Just to let you know I get take pain like any man can; but this was the worst zaps I ever got from static electricity. I actually seen a small lighting bolt form from my finger and the metal, I kid you not. So on friday I have two plans, take my time and wait for premium hands and be patient and try to not touch any metal.

I have friends by the name of Paul and Wolf that work in construction and they are gone for weeks... months at times, and then come back home for a week or two and rinse and repeat. My brother is kinda of buff like Paul an Wolf so they asked my bro if he wanted to try out and work with them because they are short on people and need help. The hotel that they are staying at has internet so what more do I need? As long there is some place for me to plug in I'm good! So I pretty much stay in the hotel while my bro goes to work and play my usual online play. There was a NLHE tournament at Caterbury Park that was a 220 ducket entry fee, but I decided not to go. I was actually planning on going to it, but I wasn't feeling it for some reason, so I went with my gut and didn't go. I'm going to be checking out the website though for any new upcoming tournaments. I wanted to say happy B-day to Kryptonite Jason, and congrats on his huge BR he made from 50 duckets.. way to go man. It's been pretty interesting here so far... I've had internet connection problems since I've been here though. I had to get a new wifi usb adapter but still have a crappy connection. Right now I'm afraid to play a lil poker, because of the connection. I hope that it don't act like this all the time, because that's the main reason why I came out here. Well also... I HAD to get outta the house before the November Cabin fever kicked in. I'll be keepin posting as usual, and hopefully I can get tons of poker in while I'm down here!

The Joys of Data Entry

I intended to make this entry about 12 hours ago, but those hours have passed and I'm on a 28 hour high listening to Cypress Hill Illusions right now.... whoa crazy! Nice track to go with my flo right now. Well since I have been playing online and live games, the past 2 years, I've been keeping track of all of my wins and loses in my PDA. I also have a subscription to Poker Charts right now, and if you don't know about that site Poker Charts is a web-based service that allows you to easily and anonymously log, chart and analyze the results of your poker games. Schools in Session!

I've signed up for school on Oct. 1st and it's not just any ordinary school it's a Pro Poker School. Brett Jungblut aka Gank is the creater of it all and for those that don't know who he is, he's won a WSOP braclet last year in 2004, the $ 5,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Split World Championship and was part of the crew with dutch boyd and Scott Fischman. But his off doing his own thang and doing it right with this Poker School he started. For those of you who don't know about this, let me give you a little more info on this. Brett has been working with one of the leaders in virtual education to bring to you the FIRST poker school with LIVE instruction. Everything is in real-time, which allows the instructors to connect with players with all different skill levels. There will be seminars on every game, and on every aspect of poker, especially as we will be using members' feedback and ideas to help come up with seminar topics. In the past week or so I haven't been playing much poker though. Eversince that bad day I had where every game I lost, I've been feeling the wierd vibes of the Badbeat Bunghole around me right now, so I'm holding off on the poker and have just been soaking up knowledge right now by books, mags, internet and doing other things I haven't been doing, like playing video games. I also went to my best friends wedding last saturday in Madtown. I was the best man, so I had to do a little dressing up ( it's rare in my book) and a little boozin. I also Don't drink at all so the half a bottle of the Champagne did me good for awhile. It was pretty kewl though, we got our own tables at the head of the room and we were fed first like kings at Midevil TIMES!

The DJ had karaoke as well and that turned out to be alot of fun actually. For my song to sing, I picked Sir mix alot- baby got back, and trust me I looked at the whole karaoke book and that was the best thing I could find! I knew about 90% of the song, but I thought I did fairly well and the DJ gave me props as well. The DJ turned out being an ass though, he didn't let one of my friends sing one more song (pokerdamus) and he had practiced the song for a week and wanted to sing it as the last song. The song was It's not unusual by Tom Jones, a classic song to bring the night down with. But for some reason the Dj didn't let him sing it and turned everything off. This assclown of a Dj went up and sang about 7 songs himself on the Karaoke during the time we paid him to DJ! So now you know why I called him an assclown; that and he sounded like Mr. Ed trying to do a duet with a man squeezing a cat at the same time. We ending up going to the bar after that, and I took a detour back to my hotel, that I haven't even checked in yet (it's now 12:20am) to have a session with Nick the Hitman. He also got a room there as well and it was his birthday when it struck midnight so we had to do a little celebrating. We decided to go to the bar, since it was walkin distance and when we got there, the husband and wife were not there. They went to another bar, because katies brother wasn't allowed in the bar from doing something in the past, so we went to the next bar. My bro and I finally got there and as soon as I got in the bar I knew I should have just went to the hotel. Every one was drunk out of their minds, to the point where I knew they weren't going to remember this part of the night. So I found a ride to the hotel quick, so I could order some food before they closed. The hotel was 170$, for one night! It was because of the badger game, so it was a bad night to get a hotel, but I got the last room and it had a whirlpool in it so I got some use out of that. A couple of my friends didn't have a place to crash so they ended up sleepin in my room. Wolf and Paul were both cashed out, before the pizza even came. I eventually got Wolf up with a couple of slaps to the face and the sweet stench of pizza in the air got him up to at least eat before passing out. Paul was another story though, and the picture below explains how far he got to eating it.

It turned out being a good night though, and I'm really happy for my best friend Nick and his wife Katie.

Shit I just deleted my whole blog!

I was trying to erase this other blog I started and just clicked delete this blog without even reading which blog it was, sheesh what a dumbass I am at times or not 100% crisp as some people would say. I'm going to use my computer skillz and see if I can recover some of it at least, so it looks like a have another job on my to do list. On the poker side, I haven't been playing much poker this week mostly because I'm taking a little brake and I feel the Reaper is out there right now. If you don't know what a Reaper is, it's like a Cooler, but only 100 times worse. A reaper doesn't even have to be near you to suck all the luck out of you and make the impossible possible. Like a 1 outter hitting on the river, your nuts being beat by a miracle suckout, getting dealt poop every hand until you finally get a hand like A,3 and go all in and go broke.

Well I'm going to get back to this sng I'm playing, and then write down what I have to do tomorrow on my to do list. I have to rent a hotel for the wedding reception next sat. and do some other stuff as well. So keep on doing what you do, and I'll catch you on the flipside!

In the basketball world they would call it a three-peat, but in the poker world I don't know what the hell they would call it so I'll just call it back to back to back. I haven't been posting much of the home game events but this one will go in the books. (for me at least)

Ever since we have been playing at my friend Nicks "the hitman" house, no one has ever won 3 times in a row. Of coarse we have had a back to backs before at the hitmans house but no one has hit a back x3 since last saturday that is. I really didn't think I was going to win at all, since I had been up for more than 28hours already. I decided to just stay up and not take a 2-3 hours nap because I'm not good at all with naps; when I sleep I sleep like a bear needs hibernation in the winter. I'm one of those people that wish sleep was a drug, so you could just take it and get it over with and use up the rest of the day doing whatever, instead of wasting the day away sleeping. But that's not how the world is and instead I sleep as much as I am awake at times. I was pretty much cracked out on not getting much sleep, but I think my game was pretty on, compared to my other motor skillz like talking and other thangs like fumbling my chips. My schedule is pretty much the opposite of a working mans job, since I stay up for 20hrs and then sleep 12hr, but that's the closest I'll ever think I'll get to a schedule but back to the game....

I think the biggest mistake I did was not giving the new player that came to the game enough respect. I was in SB, and the BB had raised it $1.50, blinds were 20/40c at that time. Middle position and Mid-late position also called. I had 5,6d and it was a perfect hand to get in with, since there was 3 other people in the hand, and the flop didn't even hit yet. The flop came 8,5,8 rainbow and raised it $2.50, the BB called and so did Mid position, and mid-late folded. I figured that I had the best hand so far and that the other hands were high cards and on some sort of draw. Then on the turn there was another 8. I have a full house now 8's over 5's and I thought it was a definate lock. So I raised it 7$ and the new player called as well and mid-pos folded. It was then, at that time I knew what he had and I was beaten. So the next card came out and it was a big blank for me, so I just checked. Sure enough he flips over QQ, and scoops the massive pot. If I could go back, I would have definately checked instead of raising on the flop, but at the time, I was thinking to protect my hand and nothing else, and I should've just checked it to see if anyone would bet at the pot and then act accordingly. It's just another lesson you learn and hope to remember it when the scenario comes up when your playing.

In the end me and Kryptonite "jason" went heads up, and it was a great battle just like the week before it was Jason and me Heads up as well. Next week, the odds of me winning again are very very low since I've won 3 in a row; but who knows it may be a no luck night and skill will be my only weapon. We've been talking about starting up a point system and having tournaments based on the points accumulated and then having match ups based on the points or something like that. It will be alot of fun I think.

I just got done taking down another MTT this time there was 136 players and it was a 7 ducket buy in. There were no rebuys and just a straight out tournament. In the begining I was getting great cards. Everything I wanted came to me and whenever the flop came it made it better. Don't you love those moments when you have those runs, It's one of the great things about poker.

Let me just write it down so you all know what I placed, 1st! Just in case you think back to back is a poker move or something. The odds of winning a 3peat is pretty freaking high if you ask me, but I'm going to try my hardest on my next MTT to see if I can get ITM, but I'm aiming for 1st as always.

Whew! What the hell time is it? 8:20am? Man, I gotta get up and get ready for the weekly game in under 10 hours or so and I love sleep. But I decided to play a multi table tournament that was starting in 25min. I killed time playin heads up games until then, and didn't do so good so I didn't fell that hyped to play the tournament which was almost a sign for me to unregister but I went on with it anyway. It was a 11 duckets to enter and 60 people entered the tournament. Long story short I took the tournament by the horns(tournaments have horns?) and broke it's neck like my next victim. Another MTT 1st place under my belt, and the prize was alright as well.

Time to take my ass asleep!

Dan Harrington saved my ass Coming back from Colorado

I went on a trip to Colorado to see a friend we'll call stinky pants, and it all started on a monday night at the stroke of Midnight pretty much. Me and my friend HotShotz started our 17+ hour Journey to the state of good ol Colorado. Hotshots and I are pretty hardcore because we did the journey nonstop, all to way there and stopped only to gas up and grab a bite to eat once at this place called Good Food. It looked closed by the outside of the place but the food was........ good.

When we got to Stinkypants house, we were so happy not to be going in a forward motion anymore. We all went inside and Stinkyp showed me the whole house which was very nice and even had a hottub, with an excellent view outside. StinkyP is have a problem with the bees, because there's a couple nests outside by the nice view. He also wouldn't let me spray them with hair spray and light the nest either. What kind of friend is he anyway? After Stinky showed me his whole pad, we had a session with the treas and chilled out hard.

I didn't do much while I was up there though; Stinky showed me the hills and the nice views they have there. While we were going back down from the 10,000ft. I felt this huge pressure by my eyebrow and eye and it felt like my eyeball was going to pop outta my head Total Recall style. That shit lasted a couple hours and totally sucked. After that passed, me and Stinky went to this place called Dave and Busters. It's a chain place that is an arcade for adults. They serve booze and food and have video games, what more could you want?

Well Hotshots and I were ready to leave so off we went on our 17+ hour straight drive again, and everything was going good until we were on the freeway. We were driving awhile so I decided to bust out the harrington book volume2 and to catch up on some reading. So I'm reading my book and all of a sudden Hotshots slows down and pulls over. Yup he got pulled over and my nugget jar was in the glove compartment. So the po po asks hotshots for his license and registration, and hotshots knows about the jar and looks at me like what are we going to do now? So he does a double check in his wallet and I go to open the glove compartment. But when I opened it, I put my book down over it because the trea jar was on sitting on the bottom and then began to look for hotshits registration.

We get off with a warning, and I tell hotshots that what the hell is he speeding for and don't do it anymore. So a couple hours later, what do you know? He gets pulled over again! This time doing 18 over! You bet your ass he got a ticket this time! Geez, if he was to get pulled over again, I think I would've find a grayhound or some shit, I'm not even kiddin you!

We get home about 2am in the morning and left at 7am..... what a hell of a drive and a journey that was.... but overall it was a good time.

Moving on up..... to the East Sideee

Well I finally got to the goal I wanted to in bones, so I'm going to do what I said and move up to a higher level in Sng's now. I usually have a method I work with when I play, like if I lose a Sng, I will go straight to a Heads up game and play a lower level game and keep on playin them until I get my money back from what I lost in the previous sng. The system seems to be working right now for me, so I'm going to keep using it until it fails me, or when I have a 20 in a row losing streak. I'll be letting you know how I do with these higher level sng's. I know that if I keep geting ITM, it won't seem so much as a grind with these higher levels with more bones comin my way. Oh yeh, you must be thinking, well what limits did you move up on? I forgot to mention it, I'm up to playing 11 bone STT's. I started playin just the 3 bone STT's with my broke ass a long time ago.
